The 2017 New Year’s bell is about to ring. So as to greet the arrival of the upcoming New Year, from 28th to 29th December, at the Lecture Hall of the east campus, thousands of teachers and students from Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department gathered together to hold the New Year’s Art Performance entitled ‘Merrily We Roll Along in 2017’.
To begin with, the art show consisted of six sessions, each of which comprised song, dance, instrumental music, drama as well as short sketch. More noticeably, each session was full of rich festive atmosphere and the audience burst into thunderous applause.
What’s more, students let their talent run wild and showcased the best in themselves. Thus, the stage was presented with talent, skill, intelligence, individuality and youth. More and more splendid shows came shining through and the enthusiastic audience cheered unceasingly, which brought the art performance to a climax. Therefore, the spectators strolled in a harmonious, light-hearted and joyous art feast.
To conclude, this New Year’s Art Show achieved complete success, which not only presented the best New Year’s gift to teachers and students in Anqing Foreign Language School, but also perfectly reflected the spirit of forging ahead in unity and super talent in Anqing Foreign Language School’s teachers and students. Moreover, the art performance was a reunion feast, filled with festive and peaceful atmosphere for all of us to stand together through thick and thin. Taking this opportunity, we sincerely wish all teachers and students in Anqing Foreign Language School a Happy New Year for greater prosperity in 2017!
